During my one year tour of duty in the Republic of Vietnam I had three different assignments:

Platoon Leader, 3rd Platoon, C Company, 504th Military Police Battalion, 16th Military Police Group, 18th Military Police Brigade - May to August 1967 in An Khe.

Platoon Leader, 1st Platoon, Company C, 504th Military Police Battalion, 16th Military Police Group, 18th Military Police Brigade - September to  December 1967 in Qui Nhon.

Physical Security Officer, Provost Marshal's Office, II Corps Tactical Zone (South) - assigned to the 178th Military Police Detachment, 97th Military Police Battalion, 16th Military Police Group, 18th Military Police Brigade - January to May 1968 in Cam Ranh Bay.

I bought my first 35mm camera, a Canon FT-QL, in the Camp Radcliffe PX and used it to take photos whenever I could.  The links on the left of this page lead to some of those photos.

I have tried to identify the persons appearing in the photos.  Some of the names were written on the back of the photos, some of the names I had in a notebook, and some I am guessing.  If I have misidentified anyone, please let me know.  It was not intentional but rather just the result of lost memory.
