I graduated from the University of Delaware in 1964 with an R.O.T.C. commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Military Police Corps.  After one year in law school, I decided I was not cut out to be a lawyer and quit law school.  I entered on active duty and served in the U.S. Army from August 1965 to May 1968.  In May 1967 I arrived in Vietnam where I served in the 504th Military Police Battalion and the 178th Military Police Detachment/97th Military Police Battalion until May 1968.  I left Vietnam and the Army with the rank of Captain.
