During my service in the Republic of Vietnam I had several assignments: Platoon Leader in An Khe and Qui Nhon; Physical Security Officer, Provost Marshal's Office II CTZ South; and Acting Provost Marshal, Cam Ranh Bay.  In each of those assignments I worked with Republic Of Korea (ROK) Army MP's of the Tiger and White Horse Divisions.  In An Khe and Qui Nhon we had Tiger Division MP's living with us in our platoon barracks.  In Cam Ranh Bay we worked in cooperation with the White Horse Division MP's.

One of my favorite photos from Cam Ranh Bay is of a ROK MP officer and myself which is posted on this web site - ROK & US MP Officers.  The posting of this photo resulted in my getting in touch with the Internet Association of Vietnam Veterans of Korea (IAVVK), followed by an interesting and rewarding email correspondence with Mr. Chung Jae Sung, the Director of Foreign Affairs for the Association, and ultimately in an invitation to attend the 1st Annual Reunion Banquet of the Association in Seoul, ROK on 15 October 2002.

Linked to these pages are photos from the IAVVK Reunion Banquet, our visit to the Dongzak Dong (National Cemetery), our visit to the DMZ and an article concerning our visit that appeared in the Baltimore Sun on 28 October 2002.
